Edwards LifeSciences plans to invest 317 million to set up a new factory in Valencia

On June 10, 2024, the Generalitat declared the installation of a factory for the production of medical material by Edwards Lifesciences Technology in Moncada as a Strategic Territorial Project (PTE).

Edwards Lifescience already has a headquarters in the Paterna Technology Park (Valencia), in addition to having a presence in 32 countries. Edwards Lifesciences is a multinational company, with headquarters in Irvine, California, and is a world leader in the science of heart valves and hemodynamic monitoring.

The project involves the implementation of a factory for the production of high-quality medical material, specifically focused on the manufacture of heart valves through the application of cutting-edge technology developed by the business group itself.
